i find it a little disappointing that rather than rallying behind something so big held in india, we're looking at every reason to make fun off it. i understand things haven't gone too well so far, but we gotta get behind it. South africa staged the biggest sporting tournament and m sure they faced the same probs. if required, there will be plenty of time to make fun of it once its over, but for now, at least show the support required. how can we expect ppl to come and athletes to participate, when we ourselves are not missing any opportunity to rip into the event. this is our country guys, this is our time......

This game is only the ploy to loot public money in the name of games....Thousands of crore of rupees of contracts were distributed without following proper procedure( including smaller one worth crores of ruppes for which even tenders were not issued). Every project cost has been inflated in between the work without proper procedure to siphon off money. Initial estimate of gams were few hundred crore of rupees has now now stands thousands of crore of rupees
Sh.it CWG , what for they are conducting, Gill, kalmadi has eaten 35000 cr. I doubt they spent all money in building infra. Indian sport counsil is conducting only for money , I know atleast 10,000 cr will be eaten by all political and kalmadi groups. Indian women hockey and other sports right now need only sex workers not young talent.
