Spaniard have not changed their habit of winning which Germans already decided to loose.. Loose talk takes a toll on each and every team and Germany is no exception..

Is Fabrigas playing?
by Anurag Rathore on Jul 07, 2010 03:52 PM  | Hide replies

Counter attack is best strategy against Germany. Just concentrate on your defense and whenever get chance attack them. Germany defense is not too strong. England and Argentina missed so many opportunities.

'German defence not so strong'...not really..best defence on view backed by a great goal-keeper to be. It's astonishing to see the way they are defend without committing fouls. Spain has a very little chance against the germans in current form and level of confidence unless however the germans play with over-confidence and goof-up in the middle. Most likely it's Germany-Nederlands on 11th july.

Argentine Higuain, Tevez & Messi were not given room to do their usual tricks. Excellent defence with last minute offence done the trick for Germans.
Defence is not too bad. Spain need to play the same defence style Germans follow. Tight defence by marking their potential threat in the form of Podolski & Klose.

I think Argentina Goal Keeper missed too performed badly. Goal Keepers do have that expectation and judgement, which Argentine didnt had.
Anyway, for Spain they have a world class Goal Keeper who has experience to thwart German attack. Still, Spain needs to score first. After defeating England & Germany their confidence is their main weapon.......

Holland stars will steal the show and they will WIN the world cup. Spain cannot contain them as they are too fast and will fire long range shots, so it is going to be Holland all the way...

German weakness..
by Dhantannan on Jul 07, 2010 11:47 AM  | Hide replies

passing is not up to mark..
possession is also weak.
now that muller is sitting out, one of forward is missing.
nobody in world can be as smooth as spain as far as ball possesion and passing is concerned.
Germans have a huge task on hand.

Yes
Spain's passing game is also a concern, if they pass even at their penalty box. European style of clearing the ball with wild shot to somewhere is necessary to escape from Germany's now confident strike force.
If you try to drible and pass at your post, you are inviting trouble as Argentina did.

Spain is too big for Germany..And before this world cup I was not knowing spain as I've little interest in game other than cricket..Thanks to our Indian crick team which forced me to watch game other than cricket.. and now days I'm big fan of SPAIN... Their passing and holding boll capacity is better than any other team..They are Argentina team effort.

Last time Player of the tiurnament was : Zidane ; Klose was the winner of Golden shoe.

both Klose and Villa are in good form and are clear strikers...But nobody will agree that Villa's Goal are ordinary, that too when comparing with klose Goals....

Have you watched the first Goal Villa Scored against Honduras and the one against Portugal....... Klose also equally a good striker, but if you watched all his goals, they are also pretty ordinary...

Today's game would be a tight clash and 50-50 chance for both sides. the result would be 1-0 or 2-1 for either side......

Your lack of knowledge is eveident in your choice. Spain is good now, but the Germans are a treat to watch and support. Change sides and you will be happy for many years ahead.

yesterday Uruguay playes its best game against Netherlands, but was not good enough. I think it is Netherlands who will champion this time, their striker force is ready and no injury worries..

First Goal
by Abhijit on Jul 07, 2010 11:12 AM

Germans are far superior if they net the first goal.
Their players have the energy and stamina to reserve the best at final minutes when the opposition try desperately for an equaliser.
When failed to score in first half against Serbia, they became nervous and even failed to net a Penalty.
The so called German change by coach Loew was helped by this 'first goals' they score.
