Nadal has proved already in past who is better
by Nitin Bourai on Jul 05, 2010 03:34 PM

dont need to debate a lot on who is better see the records against each other
Nadal leads their head-to-head 14–7.[58] ,17 of their matches have been in tournament finals, including an all-time record 7 Grand Slam finals.[59] From 2006 to 2008 they played in every French Open and Wimbledon final, and then they met in the 2009 Australian Open final. Nadal won five of the seven, losing the first two Wimbledons. Three of these matches were five set-matches (2007 and 2008 Wimbledon, 2009 Australian Open)
now who is best surely the nadal
only thing people can do is crying read the fact sheet

King Nadal
by Manjesh on Jul 05, 2010 03:08 PM

Mr.Vasudevan called Nadal only as "King of Clay" but from Now on He is the "King of Tennis". Hail the champion "Rafael Nadal".who deservingly kicked federer out.Now surely federer will call it a day soon than he expected as he is sure he can't return to his glory days against a rampaging "King Nadal" .

Wimbledon at present
by AKULA ROOPKUMAR on Jul 05, 2010 12:05 PM  | Hide replies

Wimbledon is the most coveted Tennis Tournament. It had produced great Champions like Navrathilova, Steffi, Sampras, Becker, Edberg, Federer and the likes.

Unfortunately, now, Wimbledon is gradually losing is prestige, gleem and shine as players like Nadal, who knew nothing about elegance, serve-and-volley, charm and class, started putting their hands on the coveted trophy.

Its a really sad period for such a great Tournament.

Look who's talkinga bout class and charm!!Lets hear your claim to fame, boy. You're nothing but a bitter, frustrated, sad lil Fedex fan bemoaning the fact that your has-been was knocked out, and at present Nadal towers above the rest. You run down a great champion and a greater human being like Nadal with hollow arguments like 'elegance','serve and volley'...LOL!tennis doesn't mandate serve and volley, nor does it put a cap on power or spin.Get over your powertrip and deal with it.....RAFA ROCKS,AND RAFA IS THE WIMBLEDON CHAMPION!!!Your more like someone newly initiated into tennis and you must have overheard some arguments or read some half baked stuff on an internet portal.Get real!!

Boy, this mail is out of desperation of a Federer fan and you are pardoned:)Let us move with changing times and start accepting certian truths and facts. Nadal is defenitely a more complete player than Federer and is younger and fitter. Federer is ageing and is on the slope down. Like Nadal, he too had a climb to the peak which he had reached in imperious style in his days and now it is the turn of Nadal. He will also climb down and someone else will come in his place in future. federer has made a great place in tennis history and so not to worry about it. Now let us enjoy the game of Nadal who does equally well in all surfaces which for a long time we have not seen in Tennis

Pseudo expert analysis!

Congratulations to Rafael Nadal and his fans. His trimph at Wimbledon was truly unexpected, because he remains only a Clay Court Specialist.
Right now though, Nadal is playing at a level which is far too high for other players to attain. I was surprised how he was able to pick Berdych's serve from the very beginning, whereas Federer and Djokovic could not read his serve till the very end of the match. Perhaps this was the reason for Berdych not being able to maintain an intimidating percentage of first serves in.
Now, I will give a few statistics which are known only to Topmost Experts on Tennis. Federer has won 16 Grand Slams and has been to 25 straight GS Quarter Finals. With Nadal at his peak, only Federer can give him a run for his money, provided of course he too, is at his peak fitness.

I tend to agree with Vasudevan, that only Federer can put up some fight against Nadal at present. And it wouldn't be much of a fight.
Regarding the stats given by Grandfather Vasudevan, those were really of high value. I am not sure why he chose to divulge this critical information.

I think Nadal did not allow berdych to play his lethal forehand, throughout the match if you notice, if they played say 400 points, nearly 70% was nadal's lethal forehand vs berdych weak backhand, and that frustrated berdych and he did not play the key points well, against federer he just killed fedrere with his lethal forehand and surprisingly federer allowed berdych to keep on hitting those forehands throught the match, nadal was very clever and his serve also makes a lot of differencce though his serve is not very fast it is very effective with a lot of spin he hits the line and makes the opponent slice a weak return which he murders by his forehand ground stroke, other players need to work out a way to break nadal serve else he is going to reign supreme for the next 2-3 years

8th Title.....matching.
Vasudevan, Both Nadal and Federer have won their 8th Title-
" The Championship"
Nadal -2010,
Federer - 2006.
Federer is 45/16 at G.S
Nadal 25/8 at G.S.
Federer is Slightly better.

When you compare two players, compare directly by their performance while playing against each other. Out of 25 mathches between the two so far, Nadal has won 15 and Fed has won 10. In grand slam, Nadal has won 5 times against Fed., whereas Fed. has won only twice. So who is better?

Mr.Guha, Tennis Career is NOT against each other.( Since Figure mention here are 25/8 and 45/16)
IT IS always Over all.
Federer with 45/16 has little bit edge over Nadal 25/8 at Grand Slam.
And 4 Tennis Masters Cup, which Nadal is Yet to win.
