What is there in German greatness except for killing 10 millions of Jews in the first 2nd world war. Indians are better than Germans but only in brains as far Germans are concerned they are a class altogether different from us

Sorry guys, not even The Sun in England uses all the WW2 vocabulary. So come up with something new to describe the play of this young and colorful German team that truly played a very beautiful and inspiring football. Once a again a reference to The SUN that has not been well known for fair comments about Germany. But on its website many English commentators state "how can a Non-German not root for this team?".

"Though it might not be good for the national ego (the Germans now believe that they are the best in the world)" Which German has ever done such a comment? Quite the opposite, speak with Germans, read the German press and you will find out that no German thinks so. However, quite obvious that the author has not doen his homeworks. Otherwise he would also have know how to spell Mannschaft properly. Anyway, Go Germany goooooooooooooooo!!!!

I agree with you Prakashini, 100% !! Brazil has passion, the other South American soccer teams are crooks despite having some talent.
Columbia is also perhaps an exception

Why Suarez
by Raj Thackeray on Jul 04, 2010 06:32 PM  | Hide replies

I am really very angry at this case of injustice being made out of Suarez's action to stop a certain goal in the Ghana-Uruguay match. How is it unfair that he got a one match suspension and Ghana did not win. He got what he deserved and Ghana got what they deserved. Just because a continent's hope rested on a team and they lost doesn't mean it was injustice. If that was injustice then what about Valdez's goal against Spain yesterday which was disallowed even though he was clearly not offside. Or why was not Cardoza allowed to take the penalty again when it was clear that the Spanish had crossed into the box before the penalty was taken. What about Lampard's ghost goal. Are all these not injustices which also need to be treated fairly. Don't England and Paraguay deserved to be declared winners just to be fair about it.
Football is not about being fair or unfair or being just to one or the other side. It is about which team plays the better game and scores more goals to prove it.
Those who are crying for justice certainly don't know their football.

Suarez did exactly what is expected of a true nationalist person. He gave his country a slimmer of hope. Gyan missed the penalty and has only himself to blame. Any other player in Suarez's position would have done the same.
