looks like european dominance this world cup. like brazil, argentina too flattered to deceive. germany were too good and the defending top class. messi and co had no clue what to do inside germany goal area.
i hope that this year a team that has not won a world cup to date will win it.
the world cup is too long in the sense that best teams give their best in league games to qualify for knockout stage and thereby lose steam in knockouts. lets reduce the number of teams from 32 to 24, make it 8 groups, with teh top 2 making it to the next round..the teams which fails to qualify for the knockout should not be allowed to play in the next wc so that, we get to see different teams playing in every world cup,..we can also reduce the duration of the world cups by this way...imagine, in cricket world cup, apart from the top 8 teams, we also have ireland, bermuda etc...it makes cricket boring...

Everyone is playing with same rules. So no need to change rules to benefit some teams and the Germans played just as hard in qualifying as they did today.
Main point Tevez and Higuain have no speed. They cannot run past the defenders.
Messi probably the most overrated player in history. He cannot dribble past players like a Podolski never mind Maradona.
Di Maria the only player who was doing anything.
Messi seemed to give more passes to Germans than Argentinians.
The Argentina defense has come far from the days of Roberto Ayala and company. It is simply a disgrace and Gabriel Heinze and co are simply not good and not fast either.

Messi ... a Maradona created hype ... so Argentina lands in a mess at the end. Argentine fans tear your hair ... you were worshipping false gods. Pretender who claimed himself to be the greatest football player on earth.

You think it is one day when Messi has not score in this tournament. BTW he was not good in qualifying either.

having him in the team itself ensures that min 2 players mark him ... giving others to score.. and for ur info he has the 2nd highest assist in this WC

Did you watch today's game? He was conceding the ball to the Germans more than passing to Argentinians.

If this day happened during qualifying, then Messi wold not have seen WC. they were lucky to qualify he he he
This is the world cup poorest performance in all. Argentina are totally out played. I Love them but Germans just were super.. Great Finals awaiting (Probably Germany Vs. Holland). These 2 teams deserves to be there.Well done Europe although I love Latins.. but this German performance was outstanding.

Argentina was thrashed by Germany 4-0. Bye bye Messi Grandpa, remember to take your walking stick when you come for the next WC bcoz gallery will be very crowded he he he...
What papa's fans say about Brazil ? Argentina was lcky to get young Germany in quarters, with Dutch they would have lost 8-0
