It is nice to see the way people are discussing about football. It has always been Cricket that has got attention in india. But the sad part is the indian football assocation has never been able to market the game. Politicians have ruled this body and India has never done well in football. Indias ranking has always been in mid hundreds. Let us hope that some thing is done by the football association and we see India doing well. Definitely Football has the potential to compete with Cricket in India. Let us dream that India one day qualify for the world cup.

Hari, A 3 goal wonder Mueller has been given much credit. Better you name all the ten players and give each goal to them, so that the score read 10-0 win to Germany After all you are dreaming and why cant you have such a sweet dream rather than having poor score line of 4-0?

Predicting a German win without the ball kicked itself a big blunder and what to say about these scores!
a point. All along I felt that this brazilion team dint have the necessary firepower to reach the top..they had easy games..with due respect to Chile and Ivory coast. Some people were seeing art and skill in this team must have gone silent now. In fact Dunga's strategy of apeing Europeans has failed..in first half they managed to score a couple and then shut shop in 2nd half..only this time one goal lead was not sufficient..and remarkable dutch comeback..they simply were on top in 2nd half and looked far better than brazil. Hope today's match between Germany and Argentina lives up to expectation..and we see the new mueller score a couple..

If Brazil had easy games (Portugal, Ivory Coast in group stage Chile in Pre Quarter), then what about Holland (Japan, Cameroon, Denmark in Group stage and a Slovokia in Pre Quarter)?
Knock out stages do have that extra bit of pressure and Brazil failed to control emotions
