WC Winner
by Krishnamachari on Jul 02, 2010 05:26 PM

Past statistics and performance up till now could be a guide line to predict the winner. But I find the indivudual player's and collective team's body mind rhythem on the day and time of match plays a very important role in deciding the winner. So I prefer to keep my fingers crossed at least till the play progresses for some time before predicting the winner. The betting windfall starts around this time.

Dont you nothing to comment, Hari?
Repeating the same 'Argentina will out' for so many times is of frustration
You have Argentina's record in this World Cup in Fifa's site. Check that and comment
Germans are not facing Serbia, it is Argentina with 3 forwards top scoring in all Clubs they represented Plus
Champions League Final Hero Milito waiting on bench
Give respect and take respect

every one wish Ghana could win the world cup, but all other teams expect perhaps Paraguay and Uruguay are well equiped. Even if one or two star players are injured there is always replacement. But for Ghana if something happens to Gyan then its all over..the other forwards do not measure up..

Past performance alone cant be considered
They beat Japan, Cameroon, Denmark, Slovokia
Brazil beat Ivory Coast & Chile
Last Chile Match showed their sharp attacking style with many players having shots at goal.

I am satisfied with Brazil forwards and midfielders but doubt on their defenders.

Conter attack strategy can be successful against Brazil.

Chile didn't apply counter attack strategy. They played pure attacking football. The same mistake like England did against Germany in 2nd half.

Counter attack is like Portugal play.

Chile's confidence to attack from the start against Brazil was very well utilised by Kaka, Robinho & Fabiano.
They love to play against a team which attack them rather than a team defend.
If Holland succeed in the first half by not allowing them to score, then there is a chance for hope.
Brazil has improved very much from the 2-1 win against N. Korea.
So Brazil have the edge to knock out Holland

Then there is a chance
I saw their match against Slovkia, which is not that much good.
Their defenders didnt marked Vettel & co in Second half
If such sloppy defending was against Brazil, then no hope
Van Persie need to score. He is their Star striker with frustration of not scoring.
Then lets hope they revenge for all the previous defeats from Brazil
