zheng jie of china will be facing henin in the semi-finals of the 2010 asia-pacific open, currently being played at melbourne. tomorrow another chinese li na will face the elder williams sister in another QF match. i fail to understand how china a country with no background of tennis or love for it, and still a semi-barbaric one(as per veteran journalist mr m.v.kamath)due to its communist regime, manage to have two of their girls in the last 8 of the women's draw of a grand slam tournament.and india at one one time which had the second best tennis line up in the commonwealth, with ramanathan krishnan, premjit lall & jaideep mukherjeeand then after that amritraj bros, ramesh krishnan & paes. unfortunately the indians prefer to play the doubles event instead of the singles, as it requires less of stamina, and exertion.even in this paes and bhupathy pair up with different foreign partners, instead of pairing up on their own, as none of the two wants to forfeit their egos. it is reliably learnt that china is using its clout to shift the venue of the asia-pacific open(previously called australian open)to shanghai (which is reported to have all the necessary infrastructure ready) in the coming years of this decade. if zheng & li continue to reach semi-finals of future grand slam tournaments, this could be a reality.

China is Up coming Sporting super Power. If Not Grand Slam , China Certainly deserves to hold Grand Slam Level Tournament. Tennis Master's Cup can be permenantly Held in China and it will not be unwise to offer china this honour. ITF /ATP may in future consider this. Chinese are terrible fighters and can do wonders like Badminton where they sweep all events except Mixed Double. Zheng is Certainly better player than Sania Mirza.
Henin is the roger of women's tennis.... she will definitely make it to the finals and any one of the williams sisters would be there to face her.. probably serena. Whoever it may be Justine Henin should be the favorite and Roger for the men's title.

In women, she is only one I could know who plays with a single handed backhand... In the men's circuit thou' there are many which also includes Roger Federer. So your assumption is wrong.
