She is such a failure, DABBA as a singles player; maybe she should play doubles where she has one a grand slam title so far. Why can't she emulate other players like Maria, Ana Ivanovic etc., who focus on their game?

Pedigree matters I mean "race"....got it mate.Even our male players are below average bcoz of same reason
Congrats as usual for participating in the first round as India's sports Ambassador..Keep it up & when is your next "participating ATP"?...lucky girl.........
This FIFO - first in first out specialist has done this now for 5 yrs running. In all the slams, and in most other tournaments.
Please do not again say 'at least an Indian has come so far, first woman from India etc' - it just speaks of v.low expectations and low standards. Such achievements mean nothing - first rd singles, 2nd rd doubles.... kids younger than Sania from wartorn countries have won GSlams.
The scary thing is - she is the best from India.
We just have to get off this 'best in India, at least a woman from India' nonsense. If we settle for such b's the country won't have any real stars. Please stop even saying 'then what have you done, at least she has lost in Wim'. She's supposed to be a professional, that's what she does.

:).. Sorry friend not sure how one can console you :) :) You expectation were tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo high..
Thanks god she lost. This matter would mostly die in another few days. otherwise for every round there would be unecessary discussions, poll and other nuicense in News channels. now we can concentrate on current nonsense i.e Amar singh :)
At the begining of her career we thought that she would reach the No.1 spot. But as time progressed she proved that she cannot cross the First round, whatever the tournament may be.
