ALTHOUGH IT SHOULD BE THE PEROGATIVE OF GIRL BUT IF SHE HAS EXPEND HER FORMIDABLE YEARS IN PLAYING AND BE AN EXPERT IN IT SHE SH. CARRY IT FOR RESPECT OF HER JOB AND FOR HERSELF......IT IS THE ART OF BALANCING WH. WOMEN ARE EXPERT......
What a crap, this happens only in India, she got way too much fame, money and awards(padmashree) then she deserves. That is the problem of India and the biggest reason why can't India be superpower coz we lives in a fantasy world and project small success as big achievements.Media is responsible for it to the some extent.

Thats right. She did not win a single major tournament.. and India gave her a padmashree.. I am sure its cos of her dressing... some oldman would have fought for her nomination.. cos she could "get him up" when she plays! he he

it is absolutely important to project even smalles feat. Looks like ppl are just too jealous of others' success. Of whatever little she has achieved, she still is by far the best singles player India has produced in so many years. Rather than blasting her appreciate whatever little she could achieve because in such a big country its a shame that we haven't produced any tennis player that has been more successful than her in singles tennis. Paes is another great to admire but he had pathetic record in singles. Why always blame others success and get jealous? And if you really think she doesn't deserve what she got and ppl shouldnt "hype" her, then why do you care to even comment on her!!

To say Leander Paes is pathetic shows how much knowledge you have about the game and how pathetic you are as a human being... Atleast he was able to secure a bronze medal for india in olympics.. what has she achieved for india...

its not the case of someone being jealous on others achievements.. its the case of how much have you achieved with your talents... has she won any major titles??? was she able to get atleast one medal for india in olympics.... why was she awarded the padmashree... let her learn from leander paes, whenever he plays for india we can see the committment... she was only concerned with the money and the glamour.. tennis was never her passion
Oh no, it's not even 2 weeks into 2010 and two crashouts already. look up soonavala on livejournal - he tracks every career event of Sania. Sania is such an overrated loser. How can her losses be called disappointing? Losing is what is expected.
Pl do not say at least someone from India has done this - do we have to keep such low standards always? Kids from war torn countries are at world no 1 and 2, with no facilities in their early days.

agreed its just being in media focus due to short dress code in tennis also tennis is not played as extensively by girls, so less competition in domestic circuit
