They are actors. They can act anywhere. People like you & me are fools to adore them. They are only human beings and can do what they want to.
Why don't BCCI sponser Hockey after all it's our national sport and for BCCI 1 crore is just Peanut, where it rewards crores for just winning a series or for good performance. After all BCCI also have I(India) init.

BCCI can do this but this is not a solution, Hockey federation should do some drastic reforms to get back hockey in place, just like what BCCI did with IPL.
And also as a citizens of india we should also support hockey, like we do for cricket, afterall Hockey is our national game
Dear all, Sorry don't want to be a part of this controversy. I have played at the state level(UP-1990) and got a paltry Rs 60 a day when we had camps. My parents never allowed me after that to play hockey. I was lucky i was shown the right path by my parents and now i m Reader in Jamia delhi.
Mohd Shahid was the best player India produced and he didn't have the money to cure his daughter. Is this what u call playing for India?
Players are right in going for the strike, what will 900Rs a day do for them? They are national players.
Why SRK is being dragged? Why should he pay from his pocket if the govt cant do anything for the players. Its the duty of the Govt. to pay the dues thru Stupid Hockey India organisation.
If Sahara is willing to pay why talk bad about it? Are we discussing Sahara's transactions here? Who is clean here???

I agree with you Mr.Khan. Its unfirtnate that we are so much obsessed with cricket alone. We should atleast dibert 25% attention to other sposrts too. Weldone Sahara. SRK & other Indian celebreties should also do their bit to help revive Indian hockey. Reliance should also allocate some funds to revive other sports in India and also it wud be good to have IPL for hockey too if not with millions of dollars atleast the bid shud start with few lacs. Rememebr player needs to survive, if he adopts sports, he need money to support his family.

Dhayan Chand was the greatest player India ever produced. When he was dying he was admitted in a general ward with a nobody to look after. If he was in a foreign country his position would have been entirely different.
Is Hockey our National Sports Where are all the Sponsors Only Running behind Money All Polictician should not be allowed to enter any Sports Organisation

because he didnt fool people emotionally using hockey as a prop...instead he is investing for cricket stadium in Dubai or IPL team..or best blabbering if he talks abt studies in movies...he is involved with Teach India foundation and is working with under privileged
