Close down Hockey Federation if Indian GOVT does not have money to run it - Hockey player will earn better than current compensation doing other business

yes very good idea. players who burn blood on field should be sacked and administration who sits in AC rooms and siphos off the money and mismanages selections and tours and teams should be continued with. what a beautiful mind

you fool . THese players have to get money. Will you look after their children at home. Everybody needs money. I think a fool like Mattoo should be slapped mercilessly.

what do u mean by a LESSON to others??? Mr Hariharan... they are playing representing the country.. so they must the best we are having.. if they are not paid then why the hell shud they play?They play PROFESSIONAL hockey... i really hope you know what u mean when it is said to play PROFESSIONALLY.. so just stop being an idiot.. they are right to demand their right...see the news else where where it has been mentioned that HI got more than 2 crores as spons fee but nothing has been provided to the players....and as for your comment "As far as Hockey is concerned, India is at present nowhere." when u play yopu shud be provided the basic needs at least... you cannot expect players to play just for the glory of representing the country.As for the HI president saying that players are choosing money over nation ask him for how long they have been seeking their due recognition...
