What is in the deal. The players have not demanded heaven. It is their dues only. Why not instantly pay them their dues! There is no dreath of money for offcials who will accompany them.
the ministry cannot stop making money. what have they done to promote hockey n put it back on track? i am an avid hockey fan n i have been waiting to see India win a major event from a long time.. to hell wit all the corrupt people.. always looking for a reason to loot others..

Getting kicked is the fairest deal that will be offered to these poor souls, post this "World Cup" drama.
its a shame that only 25000/player is being offered. even if hockey is not as popular as cricket still 25000 per player for national team. hockey india has gone mad. whole administration should change and sports minister also. they have made joke of our national sport

apart from these perks these players are holding senior posts in the central and state government departments. yes as compared to cricket these players are not getting fair income/fame what they deserve being a player of a national game, also like any other government department there are more number of officials than the contributors to the sports.
Do we really need such type of Sports minister in our country???? Why our beloved PM is wasting our precious tax money on such type of inefficient person (because I feel shame to say him as a minister). I hope these people will not spoil future of our talented hokey players in future.
