Lost.
by Kd Narang on Jan 12, 2010 11:58 AM  | Hide replies

Loss means Sania's preperation for Australian Open will suffer. She is the Only Indian hope in major. She is unlikely to reach Q/F at Aus.Open this time.
If she can mentally recover and prepare her best in 4/5 days, she can reach 4th round at aus open provided draw is favourable.
Best Luck Sania for The Open

Not even 12 days into 2010, and she's added two early losses!
by Oomshik Tooshik on Jan 12, 2010 11:06 AM  | Hide replies

Oh no, it's not even 2 weeks into 2010 and two crashouts already. This is what this guy has written and it's so correct. Sania is such an overrated loser. How can her losses be called disappointing? Losing is what is expected. Pl do not say at least someone from India has done this - do we have to keep such low standards always? Kids from war torn countries are at world no 1 and 2, with no facilities in their early days.

Sania loses in 1st round
by x on Jan 12, 2010 10:55 AM

even though she is losing regularly in 1st and 2nd rounds, sania still is able to maintain her ranking in the top 60 at present.. if she does the same this year, then it could be out of top 100.
somdev is even doing worse... and is now 160s in ranking, considered the top male tennis player from india. just shows how much cricket is keeping the indians blind towards other sports.

28 2nd round exits before this.. and now a first round exit..
and we've given her khel ratna i think.. ahead of much more deserving sportspersons..

why even travel so much n waste time n money to play if ur just going to exit in 1st n 2nd rounds..

We have one cricket player (Ajit Agarkar) holding a record 7 consecutive ducks. :-))

Lets see if Sania can break it with her consecutive first round exits. ;-)

how is this a news?
by kaushik saha on Jan 11, 2010 05:09 PM

the Ripley's believe it or not news is when she makes it to the 3rd round of any tournament

things have come to a point that even if she arranges a tournamnet with her nephews and nieces, she won't progress beyond 2nd round
