I urge all rediff readers to start a campaign for complete boycott of all Paki players and the teams who sign them. Let us do message boards, letters and signature campaigns. NO PAKI IN IPL.
HYPE ---- If you don't know anything about English football pls don't comment. First of all, Beckham is not a regular in engalnd setup . They have players like Gerrard, lampard, Rooney, Lenon, Ashley Cole ,Ferdinand etc , those are world class players . They are bookies fav to in the WC after spain and brazil . They have qualified from Europe with out any defeat and with most number of goals . Whats your point ?
English Footballers and football are over-hyped. the best example is Bekham..What could they achieve in world cups or European championships after 1966. Except Rooney, Lambard and Fabergas, all others are club-level players... More English players in EPL means less viewers..

Cesc Fabregas is an Englishman???!!! Thats news to me :) They have upcoming players like Theo Walcott. They have pretty good players other than the 2 you mentioned(fabregas is not english!!!) like Gerrard, Ferdinand, etc. Its true that they dont have too many youngsters on the scene, but they cant be completely written off!!. Beckham wasn't overhyped..he had genuine talent before the attention from media and sponsors and the lure for money spoilt him. We have to agree the English team can never match the natural flair of South American teams or some of the other European teams.
