Excuses...all excuses
by RajKumar SIngh on Feb 16, 2010 06:32 PM  | Hide replies

The wrist injury has resurfaced again! I think she is lying. Her intention is to hold on to her sponsors. Its been a while that we all have realized that Sania is a mediocre player who is only in the news because of her looks and the PR firm (it is owned by Mahesh Bhupathi). Once a upon a time she was suppose to be the Steffi Graff from India. Now she has fallen to the level of towel carrier for the William Sisters. Stop giving excuses and please retire. No ones give a damn to you.

How do you know are you her doctor,
Beside what you know about tennis, she is still the top in India and will stay that way.
Where are you what is your position.
Perhaps of a tennis court sweeper.

Wrist injury is really the case.

Sania was compered with Monica Seles four years back. But Wrist injury/operation has reduced her to a medicore player. we can only hope she will recover fast from her worst slump and will shine as she did four years back.
She reached Q/F of U.S.Open,( 2005) and lost only to Maria sharapova in tough encounter,
hope her same game will return and title winning will be one day possible for teen age champ.

Have you gone crazy? Sania has never reached Q/F of any grand slam tournament. US Open 2005 Q/F results were:
Lindsay Davenport       lost to       Elena Dementieva (6th seed)
Amélie Mauresmo       lost to       Mary Pierce (12th Seed)
Nadia Petrova             lost to       Maria Sharapova (1st Seed)
States Venus Williams       lost to       Kim Clijsters (4th Seed)

Oh? Otherwise she would have been winning GSlams?
by Oomshik Tooshik on Feb 16, 2010 11:33 AM

Excuse queen. India's #1 loser.
-
Please do not again say 'at least an Indian has come so far, first woman from India etc' - it just speaks of v.low expectations and low standards. Such achievements mean nothing - first rd singles, 2nd rd doubles.... kids younger than Sania from wartorn countries have won GSlams.

The scary thing is - she is the best from India.

We just have to get off this 'best in India, at least a woman from India' nonsense. If we settle for such b's the country won't have any real stars. Please stop even saying 'then what have you done, at least she has lost in Wim'. She's a tennis professional right? that's what she is supposed to do.
