Once i went to c National level atheletics meet in chennai and found iam the only spectator who came to watch ..rest all were the participants . Next month Indian only ATP tour tennis is happening and this wiil be the same case ... there wil be max 2000 ppl to watch the poor players
Great Som .do the country proud also , i dont think we are far behind from producing a top 10 ranked tennis player. Next decade is going to be India's not only in Cricket but other sports . Indian Govt. should allow Michael Chopra to play for Indian football team .Our footballing standard will go up as well.(Michael Chopra( ex Newcastle & Sunderland) is British national by birth.
So many comments on every single cricket post on rediff including the ones on Australian cricket and not even a single comment here on Indian Tennis. Shame on us all... hats off guys (all other sports) for your commitment and motivation in this cricket mad country.
