Ram Jethmalani

Can someone define the character of the so called Mr. Ram Jethmalani who was counsel for many terrorists and even tried to save Jessica Lal killer Manu Sharma.

On one side his office fought case against brutal kieelr in uniform Sumedh Singh saini, IPS of Punjab and on other side he is fighting case for same sumedh singh saini in supreme court to fulfil political obligation as he is MP for BJP and BJP is in alliance with Akali's in Punjab.

So in his views, Modi is not accused. Yes, it can be for Mr. Jethmalani.

It is not just Ram Jethmalani, every criminal lawyer's character defending a known criminal would be questionable in your logic. It is difference between ethics and personal morality. Legal ethics must override personal morals for the greater good of upholding a justice system in which the accused are given a fair trial and the prosecution must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

yes, we can wait and wait indefinitely. After 10th Jan, then there will be something else in which RJM will argue and get another stay. Excellent. Trust the sitting judge is not transferred by then.

modi enquiry
by yadavalli venkataramanamurty on Dec 25, 2010 03:21 PM

BCCI ignored the fact that the word used is ANNUAL General Body and not General Body or Special General Body. Hence there is point in the contention of the Advocate of Mr Modi that the resolution passed in the Special General Body Meeting is invalid. I think the only solution is to wait till the next Annual General Body Meeting
