its a shame that we dont give NE achievers their due.or enough respect to the region itself for that matter.. cricketers dont even truly represent the country in any event other than world cup.. yet make so much.. mary kom n others win many international events on with much more competition many times a yr yet most people may not recognise her yet
It is astonishing and gratifying to see how much these sportspersons give back to the society and country ! But, it is only these boxers, wrestlers hockey (Dhanraj) and shuttlers who are engaged with this kind of academies. Wonder when our crorepati cricketers would start giving back to the society !?

I think Mary should put up a website on her trainig academy and provide details to the public. A lot of people including me will be happy to contribute to her cause.

she is getting sponsorship from 'Olympic Gold Quest' since 2009. They look after her every need like traveling, abroad training, nutrition, diet, etc.
