NEED TO CHANGE
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Dec 13, 2010 10:12 AM

I always find it amusing when people from this country just do not end saying being Indian . We need to stop calling Hyderabadi or Mumbaikar etc .it reflects bad because we need to start viewing this as a nation and not in bits and pieces. If we can say something of achievment for the politicians it is this fragmentation attitude which they successfully created .Atlest Media should hence forth stop this regionalism and hopefully slowly it will creep in to people.

This Saina is better than the other Sania
by Rahul Balan on Dec 13, 2010 02:44 AM

I always found Sania Mirza is nothing but an over-hyped sportswoman whose news value is based on affairs, marriage n of course looks :-)

Saina's stupendous success
by Bowrie RK on Dec 12, 2010 06:05 PM  | Hide replies

Fantastic Saina - You have shown how hard work pays. You have broken the Chinese stronghold, hitherto feared by most of the European and other Asian players. You have made us proud by your achievements. Keep it up and best of luck. And now on to next peak -the Olympics-.

She has become the champ of HK Championship and now inching very close to the No 1 ranking.

However i wish it would have been real great if she had won Asian games gold medal. Sadly then she was not in her best form and looked lacklustre.

Hi buddy, yes she could have if there was a gap of atleast 3 months between CWG and Asiad.

Most CWG successful atheletes except Somdev,Sania,Vijay and Gagan were fatigued because of attending numerous felicitation ceremonies for their success in common wealth games....proper rest and practice was desired before participating in a tough event like the Asian games...
