Congrats Ashwini

Your achievement is no mean. But do stop whining about cricket, cricketers. It shows your passion for athletics in poor light. Irrespective of the number of countries, cricketers got this kind of attention only after they won the world cup. I wonder how many medals our athletes will win even if the 15 cricket playing nations send their athletes in full strength. Sponsors will come after you only when you show them you can do something big at the international level. Till then you simply concentrate only on your sports and career, instead of indulging in these kinds of comments about others. You can take a lesson or two from Vishwanathan Anand the chess champion in this regard.

Dear Bajarang
Your comments show how much the infiltaration of cricket is deep in Indian Psyche. Please remember that being No.1 in a game which only 15 countries play is like "Apni Gali me Kutta Sher". Thousands of world cup wins in a time barred game like cricket are not worth a Single Gold by Ashwini, A Silver by Khazansingh way back in 1986 or a Bronze by Virdhawal Khade . You have brains and honesty to accept that. About the mercenaries called crickerters the less written the better
