Qatar as host will be flop
by Ronny vaz on Dec 03, 2010 02:29 PM  | Hide replies

Qatar's al Jazeera sports channel was unable to broadcast Fifa wc 2010 to its subscribers...majority of them who brought card lost their money due to poor signal, disturbances & languages....Qatar was unable to broadcast World cup live how can they host Fifa world cup in their country...these are some other minus points of Qatar hosting the World cup.
1.Summer very high 50deg during WC Football.
2.Fans dont come only to watch Football that place shuld be a tourist attraction too.
3.Players health at risk playing at such extreme heat,FIFA highlighted.
4.Alcohols not allowed at stadium, fans should adhere to local traditional values.
5.very less spectators expected for non seeded teams matches.
6.Qatar's bidding was supported by Spain & Portugal.

srinivasan,
You have no idea about Qatar development. Keep shut. You have disgraced yourself with scams in the just concluded CWG. Dont write rubbish without knowing the fact.

Thambi Bala,
Just Development is not needed for hostin a WC....u need the passion of d local crowd to cheer u and a good home town who will not be eliminated in d 1st round....

if development alone is needed...we shd have a cricket in World Cup in Canada...As Canada is a developed country....

and wat is that phrase "You have disgraced yourself with scams in the just concluded CWG" ...nee enna periyar vallila vandhavana???aryargalai edhirpom...naangal tamil poolathan oombhuvom....
