BEWARE FOR FUTUTE

future international sporting event should now be awarded to private event management groups, through transperent auction system. that will reflect professionalism and whereever possible corrupt ministers should be kept out of this.

I do agree. No problem with Govt. dept. or officials - they can also work & perform like private management. It's just matter of self descipline, honesty and corruption. We must improve ourself first and see the change in coming time....

Deserve & Desire
by Deepak Gupta on Aug 27, 2010 01:36 PM  | Hide replies

Indian sport authorities and govt. official must first deserve and then have desire. Hosting such a big and prestigious sport event and even not ready at last moments, is really height of shame and corruption. Must must have considered all unforeseen circumstances like rain, flood etc. in proper schedule and planning to deliver on time. We as Indian must have some ethics, discipline and punctuality to show as confidence to world instead of playing dirty game & politics. I reckon, we should appoint young experience professionals to act and deliver. Just few example - Mr. Kalmadi not even thinking of leave post after 2 decades, what's reason behind it? Mr. Sharad Pawar who do not know the ABCD of game & cricket, how can be ICC chief. Look on rest of world to compete in honest & disciplined way rather than rest of world calling as Third World Country.

So what? Even Sachin Tendulkar is not ready to leave the cricket team. It is the same case with me and Mr Pawar. If you perform, you can be there as long as you like.

Compare with yourself only, you are the best judge on your own. Do you deserve to be compared with Sachin, he is like kid among you, his age is your political experience. Hope you understand the right intension not in other or wrong way.

I know Sachin is a national icon and I am not as popular as him, but we are equally good in our respective fields.

we just cant blame the politicians and beurocrats regarding corruption because we are also responsible for that bcoz we r the one who elects them and we also have got used to this corrupt environment and nobody wants to change nor bring change, everybody wants some other person to bring change for them,if we want to change all this we are the one who have to change first and speak against injustice.

CWG team should learn from Ranchi who has hosted the National Games. The budget was much less and facilities and every thing were ready on time and with international standard. For reference please look the Youtube.

Games will happen anyhow.Like Football. You play this game in a rough ground or on a great ground...football will be there..Similarly Swimming and Atheletics. It depends what is the standard you are providing.Even the standard is poor game can be concluded...
