Roger has improved once again. He is always been a better player on hard courts. Though he might not get to become number 1 again until next years french or wimbledon open, when nadal has lots of points to defend. still roger got nothing to prove to anyone.

Federer on the way to glory
by Thoot on Aug 24, 2010 12:16 PM  | Hide replies

I wish Federer all the best for a successful US Open. Even in last year's Open, Federer lost a match that he should have won with much ease against Del Potro. Very unusual, he lost his concentration in the mid of the match and after that his "A" game went haywire. That lapse gave a golden opportunity for Del Potro to snatch away the trophy from Federer. If only Federer had won that, he would have in all probability completed the calendar Grand Slam which would have placed him on par with Rod Laver. But that was not to be. However this year, I believe Federer would be more hungry for his sixth US Open title and seventh straight US Open finals which will become another record. His main threats to his ambitions would be Murray and Nadal. But considering how much Federer loves the US Open and the Court ambience, sixth title is not far away.

You got it completely wrong buddy. Fedex lost 2009 Aussie open to Nadal. Didn't you remember that Fedex rolled on the floor crying?

For that Nadal has to first reach the finals which is improbable considering the way he has playing of late in the hard court tournaments.
