They have looted 50,000 Crore on the name of the games. And failed to pay dues of the player for whom the games are being held.

There can not be bigger National shame.

Leander and Mahesh
by amit srivastav on Aug 20, 2010 07:45 PM

Leander has done so much for Indian sport and is already a legend. If players like Leander and Mahesh are complaining, I wonder what about the rest of the players who are much smaller in stature. Their voices are not even heard.

Why Govt.

Why Govt. is putting its nose into this? It should be completely private and no limit should be set for earnings.

As long as a sports depends on Govt. decisions, it will never ever improve.....

No wonder India suck in most sports

Only in its so,in China, sports is flourishing under government patronage, they are the best team in the world..our politicians and bureaucrats are thugs with no sporting sense or national pride...they just want to keep Kashmir forcefully with India or do chamchagiri of Obama uncle..

China is good in Olympics sports (If you consider them sports).

China also suck big time in sports like football, tennis, hockey or anything..

Olympics was developed to encourage ancient Greek soldiers to train on throwing spears, archery and personal development. Which NOT sports anyway.

They are right , it is their profession and they earn their livelihood from it, they are playing for the nation, like cricketers.
