i think jose mourinho changed the complexion of EPL after his arrival. He brought the extra passion which was lacking in other teams. His style of approach & hancdling media made EPL one of the biggest premier league in recent times. his exit from EPl is another matter. When Jose mourinho came to EPl arsenal were invincible but he could crack their strategies which led to other teams like Man U & Liverpool winning UEFA champ leagues in his period at Eng. Tho I was a hard core Chelsea fan during mourinho's time, today my heart goes to Arsenal. with such a young team & their short passes & perfect execution of strategies they are delight to watch... I wud always love Man U to get defeated cos they alawys have the supporting of refrees & players are very arrogant

There is no denying that Mourinho is a brilliant manager but you forget in 2003 and 2004 Chelsea bought an entire team.Mourinho deserves credit for getting the team to gel and perform. Money played a big role. And by the way changing loyalties makes u look like a gloryhunter.

How many of the Indians understand and follow epl.Do any of the followers know the names of all the teams of EPL.Do any one of flowers know the names of principal players of all the teams.Especialy beyond the main cities like mumbai, kolkata, bangalore, goa, chennai, hydrabad etc.the football loving people of goa, bengal, kerela do not know the names even forget others. why so much of publicity to EPL. is it because of other interest. The media baron and his cos i.e ten sports ,star sports has got TV rights of EPL and has employed good sports marketing co for sale of EPL. Our both electronic and print media has fallen for it at a cost surely. when will they serve the real interest of Indian Sports and Football which is not allowed to be beamed by them even

Speak for yourself.....you might not know the names of the teams or stars. But, football-crazy people of Goa, Bengal and Kerala (not kerela as you spelt it...you FOOL!) very well know about all these clubs and their players.

There is interest and fan-following simply and simply because of the quality. Improve the quality of football in India and I'm sure as hell we'll stick to watching the game in India!!

What has beaming of EPL to do with Indian Football. Zee Sports (sister concern of Ten Sports) regularly shows I-League live matches but the quality of the ground and the matches is very poor. There are many viewers who want to watch EPL for the quality of football. It is the resposibility of AIFF to improve football in India, not of TV channels.
