by M Vishwamitra on Aug 03, 2010 05:22 PM

Inside discussion of "The hand" (Cong) party:
"2 people are suspended because they let the news leak, and not because they were corrupt"... what a shame..!

Kick this kalmadi hard
by Vishwanathan Anand on Aug 03, 2010 04:22 PM  | Hide replies

Good god... this guy is being kicked.... like Mani shankar aiyyar I wish if the country gets rid of this man from olympic asso.
Kalmadi is MP from my city - Pune.
He once said Pune is Kalmadi and Kalmadi is Pune(like his ex boss Indira is India).
He hasnt done a bit for city than organising marathon, commonwealth youth games and Pune festival...everytime fooling common people by saying the event brought so much money etc.
he is hardly avaialable in the city, and whenever in city he's busy at politics of power against Ajit pawar (who incidently is doing a good job on infrastructure front)

the point is when will INDIA see one man one post policy.... why is he holding too many posts when he cant deliver anything....
for abt. 4o L population and hundreds of pending issues the city desrves a full time and proactive MP.
I hope the people who voted for him are listening..

Sporting Spirit
by PT Mukund on Aug 03, 2010 04:04 PM

What this shows is the sick mentality of indian government and so called their sporting spirits. India is NOT a sporting country and IT WILL NEVER BE. All they know is IPL, Indian Punters League, A league run by punters for punters.

if you are indian get it Right -corruption is not bad
by suresh iyer on Aug 03, 2010 03:42 PM

the entire india is now like a ant-hill or a bee-hive..most servants and a few queens -3 powerful queens-sonia-sheila-prathima. together they control the nation's citizens, army, navy , air force, and its CAPITAL.how much money can they make. Mind blowing. Ask all MPs to confide in a sincere way, the truth will be out. But why should anyone squeal. all of us have supported corruption in some way- so the CWG issue is just some gifting done here and there. Well if the entire event is fixed with all the matches, still it is an event. Let us watch the games at least without a corrupt mind and cheer those who want to get a medal..may be someone from our next door neighborhood in an Indian city/village. the rediff blogs itself would have created a record of the number of posts by citizens on corruption. Nothing came out of it and many elections have gone by. Long live Corruption. long live Netas. SONYAji not to worry - carry on the good work..collecting more notes after votes.

Credibility is important
by amit srivastav on Aug 03, 2010 03:36 PM  | Hide replies

The issue needs to be immedfiately addressed as it threatens to compromise the credibility of the games, our country and the games in general. People do not realise the far reaching consequences of the loss of image that the country will have to face.
