COMMONWEALTH GAMES
by Joseph Dhar on Aug 03, 2010 06:36 AM

Where is the Commonwealth? Who bothers about it? Has it retained its glory? It is a dead horse why then whip it? What use has it for us to hold games in the name of an organization that has virtually no existence? We could have expended the expenditure on education and health care that we need most Parliament is busy debating it, media is busy debating it. All useless and an exercise in futility. It speaks of our society being haunted by the colonial hangover still. I recall to my mind the debates in the Constituent Assembly of India wherein many of the members had suggested our being not a part of the Commonwealth. It was only Mr. Nehru's choice to be in it to please Edwina Mountbatten as it was for him to take the Jammu and Kashmir issue to the UNO to please the same lady and her husband. It is heartbreaking that 1700 crs have gone down the drain. It pity the lot of my countrymen.

How matters like Security are discussed in public. Best solution is offer some free seats for those from whom the security threat is feared.

CWG
by rishi garg on Aug 02, 2010 07:27 PM

Common-wealth games would be attacked by terrorist outfits like lashkar. Upon tracing, the links would be identified to pakistan. For some weeks our honourable ministers will morn "Thats too much, we wont bear anymore". The failure of CWG case would be settled anyhow. Some visits would be made to pakistan again and the cycle continues.

Our country is safest country in the world. Every citizen is given right to live by our constitution. Reports for security threats are baseless.
All such kind of mess is created by media. All the reports coming are fake and created by media for TRP.
Games will be conducted successfully on time. There is NO SCAM or any kind of security threat in commonwealth games.
All our system is transparent. So there is no space even for any minor Corruption.

Things are going on according to deadline. Even our H'rable PM Dr. MMS is HIGHLY SATISFIED with the ongoing preparations.
So Dear countrymen, who love their country BE ASSURED for successful C'wealth games.
ALL IS WELL !!

JAI HIND !!
