I just noted one thing when watching the game.. The match organisers were not letting the time to get wasted when player waiting for a ball(when the ball goes out). Not eveng a single second. As soon as a ball cross a line, I could watch another ball being thrown inside immediately.
An hour and a half acid test for Inter. Defending Champions with Home crowd support having FIFA player of the year on the other side... Having reduced to 10 in the early part of the match itlself. I can add many more like this in favor of Barca... But at the end of the match Inter proved it.. Wonderful defense. Barca gave an oppurtunity to let the world know the defense capabilities of Inter.. Rizwan - I would not deny that messi is in great form, but you should remember that he is only good if his team memebers are..like yest...since xavi was quite yest, messi cudnt show the magic!! Check any games and u will see messi only performs good when xavi and iniesta are in great form and give him deadly pass!! Look at his form for argentina, coz his team mates are crap! But with Ronaldo, he can score from anywhere..and his goals to match ratio is much better than messi this season!! so dont tell u dont know who C ronaldo is!!

and abt diving...we all saw yest why barca team is know for diving!! Sergio faking injury and getting inter player sent off!! Dani Alves is the worst diver in the world!!
luck seems to be running out for barca and their coach.undoubtedly the the best club team in the world who swept everything last year.but things are looking bad all of sudden for them. stunned by Seville in kings competition then the volcano eruption which forced to travel by road to Milan made them venerable in champions league .real is breathing down in la liga with single point apart it looks once the formidable team may end without any major achievement this year

Are you calling some one who scored more than 20 goals for last four seasons...That too by representing teams in different leagues...About being overshadowed by Messi in LaLiga...Ronaldo has scored I think 27 goals from 31 matches...And Messi scored 40 from 50...It is not Ronaldo being overshadowed...It is his team mates being overshadowed by Messi's mates..
He may have spent the last two seasons bullying defences like athelico,bilbao,espanyol and other weak teams, but when it comes to really big matches he is totally anonymous. Good ex is last year champs league semis against Terry and co, and also against any team coached by mourinho which is known for its defence solidity. Also, has he ever performed on the world stage in an Argentina shirt? I am sure if he ever plays in the english league, he will be bullied out, unlike Ronaldo who prospered. Whats the use in showing all those so called tricks and stepovers when you cant perform against the best. I think he's the equivalent of Yuvraj Singh in football. Perform against minnows and set records!

I think your comments are too harsh on Messi...Messi is talented so is Maicon,Samuel and Zanetti...They have won yesterday's battle but that doesnt mean it is the end of Barca or Messi...In last years UCL final, Barca and Messi defeated Man Utd and Ronaldo...But Man Utd went on to win EPL and Ronaldo is in good form at Spain...When two strong teams are playing you wont expect some body to win games single handedly...I am sure Messi will come back...

what about the semi-final against arsenal where he scored a fantastic hatrick. And don't underestimate spanish league, it's amongst the best so are the teams like real, valencia, atletico, seville. It's another thing we follow EPL more than Seria A, Bundeshliga or Spanish premiere league.

it was QF not SF atanu anyway CR9 also scored 2 goals against arsenal in last years CL SF and that too away from home............have u seen Man Utds 3rd goal in last years CL SF 3-1 win over arsenal .......CR contribution is fantastic in that goal and he finished it sublimely .its worth watching even if you are messi fan .........i still beliver there is little to choose between CR9 and Messi ..barca players helps more for messi to shine ..individually i think CR9 had more impact this season than messi his goal to game ration is better than messi ....if real wins la liga then world player of the year is even and WC will decide who is best with wayne rooney having an outside chance as well
