dont belittle what Anand and his team had to go thorough.A mentally stressful game like where preparation means analysing thousands of complex moves on the compluter could be daunting.
In cricket you aren't required to analyse thousands of strokes, you play your own game.

During a Series at Toronto against pakisthan,Sachin had flied for more than twenty hours to reach there in early morning & played the match at 9 PM.After travelling more than twenty hours, he had scored 77.

DONT BLAME & COMPARE TWO DIFFERNT MASTERS OF DIFFERENT GAMES. Vishy's journey was very comfortable than the cricket ground

His car was equipped with all kinds of amenities like a fridge, two TV screens and a DVD player, arrived in Bad Soden and after picking up the team in the hotel, the journey started at 11.28h.

Vishy journey was not at all comfortable! what comfort do you mean? lack of professional set-up, no mentors or former players to guide, no professional board to help, to pay out of own pockets to play FIDE rated tourmaments to earn more elo points? Do you think it's been very easy? Come on grow up.

Good that Vishi took effort to defend his crown by travelling for 40 Hrs in Mercedes Sprinter.
In India(by road) if you travel Mumbai-Bangalore its takes 30-32 Hrs & if you travel by State Transport bus it takes 35 Hrs & When you reach to your destination, the pleasure you gets that is equal to winning any trophy or crown.

"Fisher played for a long time..." - really?!! Kramnik? Kasparov?

You should've quit after the sensible first sentence, but you felt the need to go on, left your mouth open and your foot ended up in there! Sad...

Its game of brain & not of physical stamina. If any young chase player is capable of, he will definately play for India, Vishi need to to declear his retirement for that.

Hats off to Vishy's determination & dedication! This is worth emulating by the youngsters.Incidentally in the game of chess it is the mental agility & not physical.Hence age shouln't count.

Should have postponed by atleast 3 days for him to recover. Seems the federation wants to give undue advantage to local boy Topolov.
