Kasparov and Karpov are the greatest chess players the world has ever produced. Even though both are in retirement, it will still be a treat to watch their games. This match will be a good marketing for chess in the world.
Kasparov is undoubtedly one of the greatest sportsman mankind has ever produced. Having ruled the game for 20 years, no other sportsman in any other sport has ever done this.
this is ridiculous. karpov has not been playing any chess at all for the last 20 years. even in the fading days, he was repeatedly thrashed by every one except anand. now he is going to play against gary? i expect 12-0 if the games are allowed to that extent.

you're wrong. Karpov has been playing chess, in tournaments where the average rating is around 2600 - 2650.
It is Kasparov who has not played any chess at all for the last 4 years.
I dont see Kasparov winning 12-0. I am hopin to see a positional vs complications match, where the score will be very close
