only 20 % work is finished till now from past 3 yrs, according to sport minister Suresh Kalmadi. how can it be possible to complete 80 % of work within 9 to 10 months. I guess it is impossible to held a common games. Now Germany made 3 yrs Programmeto change the pattern, inspite of being the most developed and literate country in the world. Also i am right now in Germany n i see no racial problems as i had heard before coming. so a country like ours need minimum 6 yrs of training. it is no point to lift now issue. as he meant to say it is due to UP and Biharis indirectly. Congress will have to pay heavy price if the games are not held n proper security and accomodations with travel is not made. Hard Luck to Delhi before game begins

Both are sick and sickeningly and unnecessarily expensive places (Hyderabad is catching up with the trend as a next metro). Best thing to do is go and settle in a small town in your native place.
His reckless statements opens regional slur among ever fragile Indians. This is really pathetic to see. If we analyse traffic problems and over all law abidingness, whole India is lacking. But still since HM made particular remark about Delhi people are jumping with regional bigotary.

that is because delhi is hosting CWG and not rest of india
What we Indians need is heavy fines on the spot, jail terms or some harsh punishment. Only then will we be in a position to compete with the rest of the world. It's true Delhiites are the worst offenders on the road. Nobody bothers to adhere to the rules laid down by the law. And the worst offenders are the bloody politicians and guardians of the law. Need one say more. Scrap the Games and use the money in educating us Indians for a better tomorrow.
Why a Home minister should advise about traffic rules? He could have better said about Law and order in Delhi, which he wont because its his responsibility. Delhi's CM should have advised such thing to Delhites and not a central home minister.
Delhi is not qualified for an international city, it just a normal north indian city with too much hype.
- in buses we cannot find any name plate mentional where it goes.. just namaskar and cannot see any word with english only in hindi... But in Chennai/Banglore/Hydrabad and lots of other small cities in sourth, you can see the name plate in local language as well as english which will be very useful for the people coming from outside.
Very sad, Delhi is not national city, it is national shame....

So very true. Dirty and filthy is the state of the buses. And that includes the low floor ones(Green & Red). We Delhiites don't take pride in keeping are city clean.
