She like Steffi are the very few players who conduct theselves very well on court. She has no airs about her which is particularly noticeable when you consider the major chunk of players both Men and Women who throw tantrums on the court. A perfect sporting example.

Mr Ravi Varma, Think before you comment. A game is a game. Age doesn't matter here.. Only the fittest survives. Look at her way to the final. She definitely deserves this win.

I agree with Mr. Anand. Ravi Varma's comment is childish. It requires lot of efforts to beat williams and go on winning the title by beating the teenager. We must give it to clijsters. If it was only beauty then sharapova would have won many more titles than she had. Mr ravi varma, were you watching young beautiful caroline or tenis?

It is not an act of bravery, it is not an achievement! It is a defining moment and a statement of purpose-several female athletes trying to resume their careers after child birth, are unable to overcome the demons of the mind. This is not a time to point out what the playing field was like, neither what could have been, all ifs and buts put together.
