Good as it can get! A living example of having the heart, a truly brave and tender heart, in the right place. A host of ladies can take a cue, and not put off motherhood at the stake of career. The win only shows that for being siccessful one need not turn upside down the fundamental priorities of life..
As for the competetion being mild, that just sounds like a doubting jones's theory. Clisters cruised through her matches on a sure footing, hardly ever displaying any such vulnerability that one may profess that a stronger competing field would have led to different results.
Hats off to the gritty lady, she has achieved a feat that was last enacted almost three decades ago. And today, more than ever, the message it can carry to the career-weighed women is of utmost pertinence.
The baby on one arm and the trophy in other hand shall remain one of the most gladdening and disarming sight.

She like Steffi are the very few players who conduct theselves very well on court. She has no airs about her which is particularly noticeable when you consider the major chunk of players both Men and Women who throw tantrums on the court. A perfect sporting example.

Mr Ravi Varma,
Think before you comment. A game is a game. Age doesn't matter here.. Only the fittest survives. Look at her way to the final. She definitely deserves this win.

I agree with Mr. Anand. Ravi Varma's comment is childish. It requires lot of efforts to beat williams and go on winning the title by beating the teenager. We must give it to clijsters. If it was only beauty then sharapova would have won many more titles than she had. Mr ravi varma, were you watching young beautiful caroline or tenis?

Ravi Bhai, Unlike your overhyped Indian Cricketers, Kim Clijsters has signed WADA code and she is available for drug test anytime .. anywhere.

BRAVO! KIM

It is not an act of bravery, it is not an achievement!
It is a defining moment and a statement of purpose-several female athletes trying to resume their careers after child birth, are unable to overcome the demons of the mind.
This is not a time to point out what the playing field was like, neither what could have been, all ifs and buts put together.
It is a time to congratulate the champion of causes: A comeback champion,A great athlete and a proud mother.
May all the happiness come your way, lady, congrats!!!
