If only Paes and Bhupathi could have paired together, the result would have been much sweeter.!!!Maybe thats why.. my wishes are half hearted for the win.

how can you look for a Bhupathi in a article on Peas ,Lucas pair. The blask one is Peas, not Bhupathy
He has achieved so much for the country and for himself..I'am proud of this guy. I have been following his game since his teens as we both are in same age group...I was so excited to see him perform with so much energy and dedication in Davis cup tie...He always gives his extra when he is playing for the country...Somehow I feel this is now lagging in the next gen...who are oriented more towards media limelight and money than performance in their respective sport.
Three Cheers Leander...Keep going Dude...Our best wishes are with you for your good health and success.
Something wrong with the article related to the seeding of the players; Both the pairs are put at 3rd seed, which is not possible i guess;Pls corerct rediff.
Since his Wimbledom Junior Champion title in 1991, Leander PAES never ceases to be in the news. We, the Paes' from his ancestral home here in Assolna, Goa are so very proud of his another doubles title this year at U.S. Open.

Wonder if Leander Peas can even speak a sentence in Konkanni! Only his distant ancestral roots remain in Assolna, Goa. Nothing much for our Goan sons-of-the-soil to croon and be proud of him. Had he lived all his life in Goa like so many of us, he would probably have been a nobody!
Hearty Congratulations to Leander on winning the US open doubles. Few Stupid people were comparing Lee with Fedex and thinking doubles does not require much effort. If that is the case Leander would have won every doubles match he plays, because I am sure he gives his 100% in all the matches. For all those stupids: Doubles is a Team Game and things can go wrong if the partners do not have cooperation among themselves. I bet Federer cannot emulate his singles success in Doubles if he does not have a good partner.
