Hats Off Del Potro
by Vijay on Sep 14, 2009 01:00 AM  | Hide replies

Del Potro will be the new champ and will give nightmares to Federer and Nadal. His Thunder serve which will be very wide some times and his precision forehands are unbeatable. Being 6ft 6in is a very added advantage as he is swift mover on the court. Playing against him is lying swimming against the stream. However Federer is a different player altogether. He more strategic and tactical than any other play of the current era. So, he might reign over with his superior play. If it is Federer vs Del Potro, it will be eye gleaning final to watch:)

It will be Federer vs Del Potro in final and Fedex would win in 4 sets.....

But next year, Del Potro might turn the tables on Federer who will be 29 then......

apart from his physical statistic, y've got just about everything wrong regarding Del Potro. He definitely is not a swift mover, he prefers the serve down the T, not wide, and his forehands are explosive but not precise. Precise is what Federer plays. I think for Del Potro to win, he'll need to be explosive right throughout the match, and if it goes to the 5th set, then he'll not have the stamina to compete as he tires out easily. But I do agree with u that it'll be a cracker of a final.
