they will be very wrong.
They should have checked first.
It will also show that humanity is not tolerant even on the world sport stage, but just bickering greedy animals.

When bio-engineering arrives in its full glory, these questions are going to be harder and harder to dodge.

I agree 100% with what you said.As it is there's a fine line that's increasingly getting blurred when we talk about stimulants.Plus there's so much hypocrisy that's prevalent.Take Tiger Woods for example. He deliberately had laser surgery (LASIK) performed on his eyes to improve his vision from normal 20/20 to an astounding 20/10.Same with baseball home run record holder Mark McGwire and many more. This obviously gives them an unfair advantage over others who don't or can't (due to lack of finance etc.) get similar procedures done.So how is this not illegal?Total rubbish. It's all a money game.

I really look forward to the day when bio-engineering will be allowed 100% and then let's see.As it is people can't claim anymore that we'll lose out on the 'human' element, since anyway compared to the past, athletes now use far,far better equipment (eg.the latest swimsuits, graphite racquets etc.) which means they're obviously using materials to enhance their natural abilities. So why stop or put arbitrary limits on this process, and especially ones that can neither be enforced properly nor are enforced fairly and uniformly?Drug detection is always two steps behind drug use IMO,so best just to legalise it all and then sit back and enjoy the fun.Let's see what the human body can *really* achieve with extra help.

After all,if we were strictly limited to just our own abilities,we'd all be walking daily instead of using cars, planes etc.!

The sports authority of that country has to be banned for certain period for making a joke of the world sports event. Cant that particular country do the gender tests properly before submitting their applications for their participation. Similar incident also occurred recently in India.

Semenya will keep her GOLD MEDAL, same situation happened to India athlete in CWG. But Indian officals did not do anything!! If this had happened to Harbhajan or some Indian cricketer, whole Nation would be debating. Barka Dutt will discuss this topic in face of the nation. Amazing isn't.
