An old player from India
by Guest on Sep 11, 2009 06:32 AM  | Hide replies

Leander paes has to retire and do some coaching academy school.
He cant win any more in singles and doubles expiry date is fast approaching.
Now he is trying to boost his old-age by playing with girls in minis.

I consider anybody worth reaching final of grandslam event consistently has every right to play in it...u r not earning for Mr. Paes...so let him decide when he has to hang up...in any case he is not blocking anybody else's entry in the slam!

Paes did not even try to win the match. He was not in his usual charged up self. (Do not want to take away the credit from the winners who were wonderful, however, Paes and Black lacked the fighting spirit or any scare who were wild-card entrants)

by sameer bhogwat on Sep 11, 2009 01:48 AM
My apologies if this post is irritating readers, But If media including rediff doesnt post an article on it AT ALL, where do I post this.

Anyone who thinks I am being unreasonable, should watch that video. Then lets see if you think sucha news item should be suppressed.

BTW, the local reporters that shot this video HAVE BEEN ARRESTED.
Imagine how television media would have reacted if this had happenned in a non-Kangress ruled state.

Are we supposed to know only those things that KangressiMedia will allow us to know?
Isnt internet supposed to be the medium that cant be easily controlled by a totalitarian corrupt government?

FOR 1 FULL WEEK 4 MAJOR TOWNS IN MAHARASHTRA ARE UNDER CURFEW (MIRAJ, KOLHAPUR, ICHALKARANJI, SANGLI), YET NOBODY IN THE COUNTRY KNOWS ABOUT IT

If police is going to be MUTE SPECTATORS while extremists plant PAK FLAGS on police jeeps (see video on link given above), it goes to show WHAT IS THE MORALE OF POLICE in Kangress ruled states is.
After all they dont want to risk their careers by taking action. Then who will maintain law & order??

INDIA IS SLOWLY BECOMING KANGRESS-OWNED PRIVATE COMPANY & EVEN EDUCATED INDIANS DONT SEEM 2 CARE.

Sameer, I appreciate your concern in trying to report the issue. But, let's think of administration's point of view. In saying so, I am not supporting Con(dis)gress in anyway or for that matter any other politician. But, if this issue is highlighted, other religious groups from other parts of the country will get active and the situation may go out of control. It's an incident pertaining to one locality. Let it be localised. While saying so, I do regret Lord Ganesh's idol's desecration.

Can India produce one more paes to atleasr clinch a single mixed doubles grandslam crown? Mr. don can you take up this responsibilities? For a common man it is wise to enjoy the game and appreciate that their performance rather critising them. It is better watch other sports when we don like particular game/ personalities

talk sense. i love tennis but proper singles. not rubbish like mixed and doubles which is fr failures like paes.

i like watching the likes of del potro, murray, verdasco, fed, nadal, roddick and sampras, agassi etc earlier.

paes is pathetic in comparison.
