Vijay Mallya is proud of his country and therefore given the name INDIA to his team. Every sport demands performance and professionalism of the highest order and the best team will win the day. We have film stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachhan dancing at Commonwealth Games to invite the fans for CG New Delhi 2010 and demanding & getting faat payments. Of course thanks to big mouth Amar Singh she got a Padmashree also!!
The whole country has suffered when there was no necessity nor precedence for a F1 team to be named after a nation. The entire Force of mighty India came tottering in last place, last season. Every Indian citizen, who is a fan of this sport had to endure the shame, and wonder why Mr. Mallaya had to bring the nation's name into it. He could have gone for any other fancy name, than putting the pride of his county's citizens' at stake..
What Bernie is looking at is to popularize the sport in India. And that means more business!!! If he's thinking like that why shouldn't Vijay think about keeping his business afloat? Actually, F1 is the most popular sport watched on TV next to cricket, in India. If that's not enough and it would take an India driver to make it popular, we need to rethink. I guess, Vijay is doing the right thing in testing Karun first.
Mr Mallya should think before opening his loud mouth.
Renault, Ferrari don't shout that they are French and Italian respectively. Hence they take drivers of any nationality as they wish.
Here, he calls his team Force India and then says Indian drivers are no good. You would be totally correct with that argument if you follow Renault, Ferrari by naming you team as UB team or Kingfisher team.
Let those names rot, we Indians won't mind.
But please be sagacious enough before taking the country's name.
BTW, before Belgium your team was the worst with big ZERO points.Hope you remember, Mr Big Mouth!!!

You literarly prove that you are KID. Being INDIAN, every body criticised him and there was no support for him. Being a billionaire, he could bear the agony for long 2 years, before he got a podium at SPA. It was then the so called Indian patriots started appreciating. F1 involves a lot of investment and is partly a business. As such there should be some returns also. Bigger teams like HONDA and BMW are pulling out. We should congratulate Mallya for his patience, before he gives up. What he said is correct. Let him prove it. Then comment.

Force India is to get indian support, but at the end of the day its a private team and it doesnt quite represent India in true terms. And hopefully one day we will get an indian driver which will be very exciting but before that indians driver need to be well equipped to compete with the european drivers, otherwise Force India will lose competetiveness

The KID want 50% reservation for Indians in Force India. No matter whether they are capable enough. It involves lot of money as u might be knowing. Mr.KID think properly before you write in BIG paragraphs.

I also encourage and be proud when an Indian driver stands up on a podium. Before that they have to prove the mettle to join Force India
mallya is just as indian as anyone else.. why should he prove his loyalty to others.. anyone can start their own tea shop n call it india tea shop also..just like he calls his team force india.. he could have just used any fancy name or logo but still chose to highlight india which is good.. india doesn't have any great backbone of racing yet.. so quality drivers will take time to emerge..
