Unimaginable
by siddhartha das on Sep 10, 2009 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

For me it will be unimaginable in case Argentina do not qualify. The thrills associated in the World Cup will definitely come down. I am also surprised to see them play so badly. A world cup without Messi would be impossible to swallow. God, please help Argentina to qualify for the sake of soccer and its fans

I am a die hard fan of Diego, the man with the hand of God as well as the feet of God. Unfortunately he is not the right choice for a coach. He is too big!
Apart from that Argentina will qualify, guaranteed!!! If they do not, the world shall be a loser as they will be offered MECHANICAL Football in SA. Football sans Argentina is football without heart. Others play with their head - sadly no heart - in their game.

boy, you need performance as well, or else your 'heart players' are only fit for the circus....one has to score goals, thats the key result. So dont just live in the past...Maradona may be 'God'...but now is the time to play football...religion is secondary!!

Classic team Argentina
by Tapan Chowdhury on Sep 10, 2009 01:09 PM  | Hide replies

Although Argentina lost to Germany in the last world Cup, It was the team Argentina who played classically. They lost due to the biasness of the referee in the quarter final match. This team is classic and I wan to see them in the WC again.

In 1994 Brazil, 2010 Argentina
by Ameen on Sep 10, 2009 12:54 PM  | Hide replies

1994, Brazil struggled like this to qualify, but after qualifying, no looking back, Romario, Bebetto team won the cup.

It is going to happen this time for Argentina, and the hero will be Messi.

haha I sure hate to do this to all Argentine fans...but they wont make it to SA.
messi may be a genius...but friends, we dont need geniuses to win matches. We need a TEAM!!
Look at Brasil..barring Kaka, no one is a superstar; but play as a team, thats what they are doing.
Please convey that to Argentina as well! :)

Bhasmasur have you ever watched a football match. Argentina is one of the best in the world & they have everything in them to win the world cup & I'm pretty sure no one is going to stop them to tread towards world cup. May be their players are not clicking together this time around but when they, they are certainly the unstoppable force. Who cares how they reach the world cup through direct qualification or playoffs, what really matters is they're going to win 2010 World Cup.
