Lets stop praising Sanias and Somdevs. Lets praise such spirited budding talents who overcomes all odds and are winners. By Praising Sania and Somdev we are showing our immaturity to the world of tennis sport.

No issues with supporting these budding talents, but whenever they play against sanias we should support sanias isnt it?
This, even as India excels in meaningless doubles that no one cares about. Even in this, Sania does a 3-peat of losing.
Please do not again say 'at least an Indian has come so far, first woman from India etc' - it just speaks of v.low expectations and low standards. Such achievements mean nothing - first rd singles, 2nd rd doubles.... kids younger than Sania from wartorn countries have won GSlams.
The scary thing is - she is the best from India.
We just have to get off this 'best in India, at least a woman from India' nonsense. If we settle for such b's the country won't have any real stars. Please stop even saying 'then what have you done, at least she has lost in Wim'. She's a professional, that's what she is supposed to do.

Mr.O.Tooshik ,This report is about Melanie Oudin and her recent performance. How and Why DOES SANIA came into picture ?? Oomshik Tooshik has probably (Or conviniently )forgotten that initially in 2005 Sania had also shown great run by reaching QF in U.S.Open and winning WTA title in Hyderabad. Her recent slump is due to Wrist injury which she was complaining two weeks back. One NEED NOT bring Sania in to picture every time. Same is the case when Saina Nehwal performs well , How can Sania be targeted by watching performance of other players ???

She is not really the best from India but the one who had the easiest to reach there. Getting sponsors was easier fro her due to the initial promise that she had shown. In an interview another Indian woman tennis player had said that there are far better players than Sania waiting just becoz they are not able to get sponsor.

I had no idea there were others. Maybe they are not photogenic like Mirza. I wish they get sponsors.
