Die go Maradona
by Guest on Sep 07, 2009 09:38 AM  | Hide replies

Maradona is the culprit for the debacle Argentina is now facing. When KKR finished last in IPL, Buchanan was mercilessly blamed and fired and this the treatment even Diego Maradona deserves. A drug addict cannot teach good things to his players and he is only doing it to make money and not to ensure Argentina's qualification.

Sad defeat
by Imran Sadath on Sep 06, 2009 08:11 PM  | Hide replies

It's really very sad to read that yet again under Maradona they have lost another match. Great players do not make great coaches I guess Maradona should exit gracefully then be made to, Argentina with such abundant talent and such exiting players surely deserve a go at the WC finals else it's a big loss to the tournament as a whole.

Argentina will come back strong and would definitely teach a lesson to these Brazilians in the world cup.

well said friend. All those in the previous column were saying that Argentina is better and Maradona is better than Pele. Without knowing the unpredictaility of sports these EXPERTS are foolish in their arguments. Atleast now, let them learn to be balanced
