Players like Isner and Karlovic can upset any player on their day. Isner with his 38 aces was too much for Roddick. Now perhaps we can appreciate why Roddick could not win Wimbledon this year. The other guy served as many as 50 aces.

Isner is much better than Ivo Karlovic. Karlovic has single dimensional game that is- deadly serve, but Isner on other hand can handle different situations on court.
It is really sad that Roddick has lost one more close match, luck is not in his favour this year. Our memories of his Wimbalden final match is still fresh. I think Roddick needs to play the crunch points well to win any major tournements. Hope he raises the bar in 2010 !
