He not only swept the third set 6-0, he had many opportunities in the match. he had 20 break points, more than what he gave away. but crucially he could convert only 4 and wasted 16!. compared to this his oppnent converted 5 out of a much lesser number. he has to learn that in tough matches these critical things play the major role. he has talent and mental toughness. with time and experience I am sure he will do far better than what other indians have acheived in profissional tennis. All the best Somdev.
Somdev has done a commendable job against Philip kohlscrheiber. He had chances, specially after pocketing 3rd set, but couldnt hang on to it. His opponent had once nearly beaten Federer in AO, so taking a set 6 - 0 against him is a good feat.

Dear Friends, there are many Pakistanis like this guy on our Indian websites. Be careful, I am not calling any of our Indian Muslims this. There actually are many frustrated Pakistani losers like this guy whose only agenda is hatred against India & Indian success.
I urge all of u to fight these guys all the way & BE UNITED.. JAI HIND!!

i would not be that harsh on him just at of now. competition is not with the opposite person but with yourself. and i think he did better than where he was and he is really new. unlike sania mirza who is a total hopeless case and shud be banned by every viewer who watches tennis and also advertisements.

but wud also like to add that i dont like his mannerisms on the court, sometimes he looks like shreesanth part2. he shud look like a student of the game at this stage of his career. there is evry chance he will bcome another sania if he is hyped now and paid more than what he deserves. he doesnnot loook like a matured guy and definately cant handle success.

watch out for her bobs buddy. I have even interacted with the cameraman who shot
Somedev lost, but gave good fight. All those blaming/bashing Miss Mirza should now realise how difficult it is to pass second round at GS tournament. Both are giving good fight Sania/Som needs encouregement, support, so STOP bashing/blaming Sania if you can't support her.
Hard working guy never loses hope. Strong determination will help him to keep his tempo up.He should take his moral high from the third set win in 6-0. BEST Of Luck

He is undoubtedly very good, but already 24 years of age, no hope except to reach top hundred without even entering 3rd round of any grand slam.
