I am highly irritated by mentioning it as record? Is crossing first round a record? such a foolishness..... Thats y they are not at all improving and crashing out shortly after a rare win.... I am not at all having faith on sania..... I hope somdev atleast will move differently by giving his best.... Lets see..... Till media gives hype to this kind of things, we will never see them succeeding second round .....

Teams ranked 94, 143, 160, 156 and 159 played the Nehru Cup. It is the equivalent of a cricket tournament with Bahrain, Canada, Bahamas and Uganda. Why should it even be covered on rediff?
Sania Mirza is saying that she never felt fitter and she is a little rusty...
Any top class coach can tell her that her lack of fitness is contributing to her rustiness... Cos of her labored movements on the court, she makes too many unforced errors...
For Sania, it is a twin challenge to work on her por backhand, improve consistency and lose atleast 5KG.....she is definitely top 20 material when it comes to sheer talent!!

Don't worry. She will not dissappoint you. She will maintain her past six years record i.e of crashing out of the second round.
good showing by somdev and sania, but they are to face seeded and much better playing players - kohlschreiber and penetta....no chance....straight sets loss....
anyway, hoping for a divine intervention to prove me wrong....
somedev is wonderful. he will definitely create a mark for himself one day.
just like our cricketers, many times sania has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. all because of certain attitude problem. lets hope she overcomes that and probably she will go a long way too.
