Congrats Davydenko in winning the inaugural Shanghai masters. Soon lots of players should beat Nadal and for him to win anymore grand slams and masters series will become impossible. Right after the shock defeat in the french open, he still has not won any tournament is worth mentioning. Looks like even his 100% fitness is not going to make more titles for him and his doggy days of retrieving the ball must be all over soon.
This is the problem with journalists who don't understand sport. Davy may have an unflamboyant personality, but his style of play is one of the most aggressive and risky in the game, hitting flat and going for winners all the time, with a low margin of error.

well said. y've hit the nail right on the head,,davy certainly is not just a simple counterpuncher..he creates opportunities and always goes flat out!
its good to see someone like davy win the masters.... one thing is crucial to win against nadal is to play the ball early and such players have won easily....
