The World Masters Games in Sydney has rekindled memories of the Sydney Olympics despite its smaller scale. With athletes from around the world openly mixing and chatting on the train, at a restaurant etc. about their sport and their country, seeing this friendliness as a result of a common interest leaves a smile on my face as wide as the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
