This is a classical debate on whether Nature is better than Science or vice-versa. Science & Technology go hand-in-hand and they have given us new areas / opportunities from the Industrial Revolution. Today there are better means to earn and opportunities when compared to the Aboriginal era. As Humans evolve, it is only but natural that the focus is on mental abilities rather than brute force. On the contrary having a one-sided view of the so called modern man being a wimp is certainly not pleasurable reading

Certainly thesheer brawn that Savagery of Cathy Freeman does possess in the wild preserves of Tasmania and other wetlands of Australia could lend the support the thesis that modern men are too tamed and degenerate because they live on tamed cooked sort of diet and do not seek their meals of Quarries as chasing Hunters as their Primitive ancestors! The records ofBolt as such are not comparable to the earlier Chase experts whose footprints are scrupulously scanned by our current Man -Anthropologist.The two have no common ecology to make sensible comparison.D.
