Kicking maradona
by Guest on Oct 09, 2009 11:51 PM

Argentine opponents must be seeing the ball as maradona and hence want to kick as much as possible and score goals for their country. Whereas the argentines donot know whether its maradona and are afraid to kick.

what a shame...
by chindhee chor on Oct 09, 2009 10:49 PM

argentina always start as favourites to win at any world cup...the charisma and charm with argentian soccer team is same like indian cricket team...needles to mention both lose in early stages...i wont be surprised if argentian fail to qualify...but it will be shame and so many viewers wont watch for sheer sadness...messi what are u doing...go and win..

La paz is the killing field
by Gopi joseph on Oct 09, 2009 09:50 PM  | Hide replies

I haven't seen any team beating Bolivia in La Paz. But when they come down to play in low altitudes they are not a team. Don't worry Brazil also once lost to this team in the same venue. Argentina will definitely qualify for the final as usual.

Maradona
by Atanu Chatterjee on Oct 09, 2009 06:20 PM

Thats why we love him so much. He is so flamboyant that not scared of losing hard-earned glory that he accumulated in his playing days unlike Pele who was very smart not to even try it. In very few occassions though we had seen a legendary great player being successful as coach. Beckenbauer & Cruyff were exception.

The god of soccer
by thomas on Oct 09, 2009 02:40 PM

Diego is the god of football when he played-but as a coach he failed-Now the damage is done to Argentine soccer team-they may not qualify, even if they do it will be difficult for them to do well in WC-the team has talent, but the dicipline is lacking and no less than the maradona of 1980s can take them to greater height.Messi is definitely not the god.
