She's a great athlete for sure. It's a shame that someone of her stature isn't among the most well known sportspeople of this country. She's a 4 time world champion which no Indian has ever been.
1. If MaryKom was suspended for using foul language.... why is he suspension revoked? Did she apologize? 2. If her suspension was revoked as it was found to be "unfair" ... then why was she suspended in the first place? Why not suspend the suspending officials? 3. If she was abusive .... and has not apologized and her suspension was correct .... and now revoked.... is there a bigger lobby working for her than against her ? 4. Why is the public not being told the whole truth behind her suspension >
If we don't respect our sportsmen and sportswomen how can they perform in the international arena.Athelete from other countries and provided with almost everything so that they can concentrate on the main events rather then worrying about hotel bills,food,taxis,allowence,uniforms etc etc.Its a sad fact that Indian atheletes does not have the liberty of choosing veg or non veg meals.They have to think twice before going for the non veg meals as its expensive.Winning and loosing is a part of the game and every sportsperson understand that.The few and wonderfull sportsmen/women have won the medals on their own effort.If they can do it without the help extended to them,imagine the height these sportsperson can achieve with help from the government.They need motivation and financial help.Stop harassing them and stop reginal politics that is killing them.Lets the official learn how to appreciate and respect them.They need our help and support.
