Its time to tie mallya to one of his f1 cars by an indian and drive him around the circuit at top speed and only then he will know the capabilities of an indian driver

i dont think indians can do better than driving taxis in ny. mallya did offer to watch chandok in gp2 but he returned the favor by coming 19th!!! so that is the capability of indian drivers.

Raikkonen says, "If I do decide to stay in Formula One, I wouldn't go to any of the small teams, where I would not have the chance to fight for the championship,".
What do you understand for that? Its the car make and team that determines winning. If Mallya offers even more money that Ferrari did, still Raikkonen wont race in Force India car. He knows he wont win.
So similarly judging an indian race driver without considering the car and the team he is with is totally wrong. Narain did his best in Jordan what the car could offer.
It may just so happen that Mr Malya picks up Rikki in light of his statement that he may join a smaller team where there is no preassure on him to win the Championship. Force India is in the process of improving their cars & inputs from a good driver will come in handy. Ofcourse the big issue will be his pay packet. But if a deal can be struck, it'll be good for both. Lets see how far Mr Malya goes to fullfil his dream of F! top honours.

He clearly says that he would not join a smaller team, where he would not have a chance at the championship. So i dont think Mallya has any hope.

Upadhya sir, please read the news correctly before making your 'thoughtful' comments. Raki said that he would not join any small teams where there is no chance of winning championship. And beside Mallaya cannot afford him. If at all Force India had that much amount of money, they would have stopped Fishicella from leaving the team.
